Catherine Cohen is a results-driven Government Relations executive with years of proven success in delivering innovative solutions to policy problems for specialty physicians and medical device companies. After 25 years heading the Washington office for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, she recently launched a consulting business — Strategies for Innovative Policy Solutions — to continue working on Medicare and Medicaid issues for disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Remote Therapeutic Monitoring.
Catherine has an illustrious career, formerly a long time VP and more recently Senior Advisor to the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Before that, she was Director of Federal Affairs of Eastman Kodak and Director (D.C. office) of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
